Late one soggy night you run into a pack of rogue Unicorns heading to a tea party. Will you join them on their adventure? You might get wet, or swept into worlds unexpected, so hold onto your heart and make sure you have your magic uni-horn handy. Them Unicorns make some mad tea.
This journey is the result of several late nights under a soggy Scorpio New Moon with an arrangement of eclectic lounge picks, some hand picked whompy loops and curious samples. This really was an adventure of the heart, dancing thru the synchronistic wacky enchantment that only Unicorns can dish out on a rainy night. Enjoy the ride.
::Unicorns On A Soggy Night:: is mixed in Ableton Live utilizing three simultaneous channels. I explored a new approach to playing with loops and samples and rearranging tracks to create a composition unlike anything I've mashed up before. Not my normal club mix, but perhaps one of my favorites up to this point.

Told you it was eclectic! Big ups to all the amazing artists who produced this music and offered a tapestry for me to weave my wizardressy. Please track them down and buy their original music!

Ecstatic Bellydance is an ancient and modern sacred dance which awakens the bodies natural wisdom and ecstasy. It is a meditative and expressive form of bellydance that integrates many years of study in dance, yoga, and tantra. We will begin with transformational yoga practice and go through basic Bellydance repertoire including isolations, taxim, and shimmies based on sacred geometric patterns and symbols. Then integrating these movements, we will journey through the body combining movement with breath, sound, and intention to create an embodied ecstatic experience.
Afterwards we will have time to socialize and enjoy raw food snacks while DJ Shakti Bliss spins some down temps beats for us.
